What we can do after hours
Almost everything we do in daylight. Lockouts, lock changes, rekeying, replacement car keys for most makes, jammed and seized locks, and emergency board-ups. The only jobs that genuinely wait for morning are ones needing a special-order part — a discontinued Whitco window catch, or a restricted key cut to a registered system.
Why after-hours pricing is different
Overnight work costs more because a technician is being paid to be awake and on the road. We quote a flat after-hours callout plus labour, and we tell you both figures before dispatch. If the job turns out to need parts, you approve the price before we fit anything.
Before you ring us at 2am
Two minutes of checks save some people a callout fee: try every other door and window, check whether a flatmate or property manager holds a spare, and if a key is turning but not throwing, stop forcing it — a snapped key inside the cylinder turns a cheap job into an expensive one.
