Our technicians completed their locksmith training in Germany, where the trade is a formal apprenticeship rather than a weekend course. That background shows in the details: reading a lock before touching it, picking rather than drilling, and specifying hardware that suits the door instead of whatever is cheapest to fit.
It also means we are comfortable with European hardware and multipoint locking systems that turn up in newer Auckland townhouses and apartment buildings.
Mobile by design
We have never run a shop. Every van carries key-cutting machines, automotive programming equipment, cylinders, deadbolts and door hardware, so the overwhelming majority of jobs are finished in one visit at your address.
How we price
A callout fee plus labour, quoted on the phone before we dispatch. After-hours and public holiday rates are higher and you hear those figures before a van moves. Parts are quoted and approved before anything is fitted. If a job turns out to be simpler than expected, the invoice reflects that.
